Protesting In America and how it affects others
What is the True meaning of the word Protest?
Protesting is all democracies at work. How this affects all society is that lots of people come together to protest either go against or go for something. Protests are usually brought up to thrive more on democracy. People around the world do this and not only in America. Also protesting is a big part of politics. Democracy here means togetherness and that is what it has always been. Many people have voices but many others really don’t get their voices heard as much as others. Things change very slowing in the process of being in a protest. We all have a voice and we should all say something to speak of what is needed to be said from our minds and what we know is the right information to let out to people so that they will know. It is part of the laws and amendments most importantly the first and the fourteenth amendments. This is an a extreme level should do something about because we are doing it for each other and we are doing it for a special cause and most things in life are special causes that need to be dealt with.
This shows that democracy impacts people because it not only affects a certain group of people but people around the world.Kids and students literally came out of their classrooms just to protest for their teachers and the people at their schools. That was how important this situation was to them even the people that were still working at the school and not working at the school because they probably worked with people that they actually worked well with. A quote about protesting comes from a man named Paul Watson. What he has said about protesting is, “Protesting against illegal activity is not privacy.” This is a very agreeable quote because protesting happens for the right reasons unless some people think it is not for good reasons then it would be a whole other conversation. |
Another quote about protesting comes from a woman named Rebecca Mackinnon. Now what she said about protesting that is also true is, “The internet is an empowering force for people who are protesting against the abuse of the power.” What is believed about this is that it makes people want to protest even more especially if it is on a different topic. Protesting is very important in society and democracy because we do it together has a whole and as a team. That’s why we are all here on Earth for. We are here to support each other and not hurt each other. Eric Gardner and Michael Brown are examples of protesting because they were killed for no reason by white police men. They were both from Ferguson and thats where the killings happened. Michael Brown was shot by a white cop and Eric Gardner was choke holded by another white cop straight until he died. People did special events such as Die-Ins which talked a lot about the case. Another issue that has happened before this year was that there were a lot of protests about school funding, budget cuts and firing most of the people who worked in schools. This idea was brought up by Super Intendant Dr. William Hite. Many people didn’t like this. Also to describe another protest that deals with democracy in America, people were also going against Governor Corbett because he cause most the the protests from last year.

A quote about free will comes from a man known as Scott Adams. What one of his quotes said about free will is, “Free will is an illusion. People always choose the perceived path of the greatest pleasure.” Protesting is known as a global issue. Some statistics about protesting is that blacks are 4 times more arrested in the Ferguson case as much as the whites has whites had. More than 400 people were arrested in this case and this just happened last year.
The most important here about these protests is that all black lives and all people’s lives matter because that is why we were in this world for. We are in this world to show our human side and we all have it it is just that we all have different ways of showing and proving this idea. Protests are a good idea because lots of people’s voices get heard. Another quote that is honestly true between all things is a quote by Vano Merabishvili. The quote she said was, “If there is no threat to the lives of the citizens, our tactic will be to not intervene or impede members of the protest in expressing their free will.” How this quote is true is because all people do have a free will and its our duties to deal with it.
